Yoko Tsuno is a belgian comic series which now includes 24 volumes. Its author, Roger Leloup, also wrote a novel about Yoko's childhood (L'Écume de l'aube).
Yoko appeared for the first time in 1970 in "Spirou", the weekly magazine of the publisher, Dupuis.
The drawings of the series have a very realistic style.

In all volumes, technology (old, existing or futuristic) takes a more or less important place in the story. In many volumes the heroes have to deal with people who use technology with bad intentions.
The action of the series takes place on Earth (in present time or in the past) and on Vinéa, a far away Earth's twin planet.
